Chief Patron of Sakar Society Sh. Amba Prashad Sharma ji did his Diploma from Govt Polytechnic Sunder Nagar in 1965 & completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi. He served in USA and presently enjoying citizenship of USA.
He is a social worker who has donated huge amounts in India for welfare of the common people of India, presently he has donated a huge amount for the setup of Rotary Eye Hospital in Sunder Nagar. Sakar Society is run on deficit basis as its recurring expenses on transportation & salary are approximately 3.50 lacs per month & Govt funds 98,800 are received per month. Most of the expenses are met through public donations, Rest of the losses are borne by Sh Amba Prashad Sharma ji..
